Christopher Henry suggested that I got in touch with you about a map show we’re planning in November in London called the Art of Mapping.
The group show is intended to highlight the creative potential of maps and cartography in a fine art context, and will include a number of internationally-renowned contemporary artists including Grayson Perry, Paula Scher, Gonkar Gyatso and Susan Stockwell. A selling exhibition, there will be a catalogue, and we are inviting people to contribute including Katherine Harmon (author of The Map As Art) and Claire Dobbin, senior curator at the London Transport Museum.
I’m based in New York but the gallery and TAG is located in Islington, London.
